Maple Pecan Almond Butter

After making this super simple and ultra satisfying nut butter, you’ll wonder why it took you so long to make your own! It’s creamy, slightly sweet, and SO GOOD.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups raw pecans

1 cup raw almonds

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Spread nuts on a baking sheet and roast for 18-20 minutes or until fragrant. Remove the nuts from the oven and let cool completely before processing. Add the roasted nuts, maple syrup, and spices to a food processor with a metal “S” blade and blend for 10-12 minutes. When you think you’re done processing, blend for 2-3 minutes longer for ultra smooth and creamy nut butter. Remove the blade and spoon the butter into a storage container like a pint-size glass jar with a screw on lid. This will last 2-3 months in a dry pantry. Refrigeration not necessary.
